Advances in non-surgical treatments have given lots of options to minimise the effects of ageing, sun damage or scars. When your face has the ability to make over 5000 different facial expressions there are lots of ways in which your face can develop unwanted lines and wrinkles. Whilst we do not desire a face of expressionless emotion you can be sure that the range of treatments available at the clinic will be sure to encourage a smile. Here are some Non Surgical Treatments for 2015…. Non Surgical Treatments for 2013

Botox – The number one treatment for yet another year, Botox is a firm favourite for turning back the clock. Smooth wrinkles and relax frown lines with these quick and simple injections. Whether you want to prevent the onset of those laughter lines or minimise the effects of a deep brow line, botox is the simplest non surgical procedure for a youthful appearance.

Dermal Fillers – The non surgical facelift that can re-define your look without invasive surgery. The face loses volume and definition with age and dermal fillers can re-shape the face, giving back a youthful appearance. Dermal fillers last for much longer than Botox but have to top the list for non surgical solutions this year.

Sculptra – If you do not fancy a full on face lift, Sculptra is a non surgical alternative that gives amazing results over a period of treatment. The mini facelift entails injection sessions about 3 weeks apart with up to 4 sets of sessions needed. Sculptra shows results from between 2 weeks to 2 months and will give you a brand new look.

Microdermabrasion – A popular treatment for instant results and a firm favourite for 2015. Microdermabrasion takes away the dead skin from the surface of the skin (think a firmer method of exfoliation). Once the epidermis is free from dead skin it’s inner glow will shine through,

Obagi Blue Peel – This miracle treatment has become a firm favourite at Bedford Skin Clinic. The Blue Peel is a mixture of chemical trichlororoacetic acid and a special blue base. The blue element of the treatment regulates the peel  and removes the damaged surface layers of the skin. Once the damaged skin is removed the healthier cells are given the chance to shine through. The Obagi Blue Peel can be applied to the arms, legs, neck chest, hands and other parts of the body.

PRP (Vampire/Dracula treatment) – This is an excellent treatment for facial rejuvenation. It uses your own blood hence minimising the complications. Currently this is one of the most popular treatments at Bedford Skin Clinic. It can be done on any part of the body.

PDO Thread lift – This treatment is increasing in popularity over the last few years. The threads are injected into the treatment area and they produce collagen bands that strengthen the infrastructure of the face. It can be used for an eyebrow lift, lower eyelids, double chin and to give a mini face lift.
